Job summary

Brooksource is seeking a smart Business Analyst for our Sustainability client in Houston, with 5–7 years in energy trading or risk management. You will be trained on two ETRM systems and a Risk Management system, acting as power user supporting front, mid and back-office users.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in systems development, upgrades, and analysis.
• Experience with QA testing and business analysis methodologies.
• Knowledge of system design and related analysis.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders across director levels.
• Assist with modeling complex power and gas transactions in the ETRM system.
• Help produce accurate position and other commercial reports from ETRM and deal capture systems.
• Provide top-level business and systems analysis to support strategic vision.
