Job summary

Geronimo Power is seeking a Cost Control Analyst in Bloomington, MN, to support cost management across a renewable energy development portfolio. You’ll forecast, report, and implement project controls across solar, wind, BESS, and data park projects, collaborating with Development, Engineering, Finance, Construction, and Project Planning teams.

The role emphasizes cost governance, forecasting accuracy, and executive-level reporting to drive informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and variance analysis principles.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project cost tracking, forecasting, and reporting tools across the Development portfolio.
• Support CBS/WBS alignment and cost loading schedules.
• Coordinate monthly forecasting cycles and consolidate portfolio cost forecasts.
• Analyze budget, forecast, and actual performance and identify key cost variances and trends.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain accurate cost forecasts and provide portfolio visibility.
