Job summary

Dominion Energy is seeking a Power Contracts & Market Origination intern to support PPAs, RECs, and renewal energy procurement in Virginia and North Carolina. You will learn through hands-on work with experienced professionals, including RFP processes, contract administration, and market analysis.

You’ll gain exposure to reporting, regulatory exhibits, and cross‑functional collaboration while building skills in energy economics, finance, and procurement.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree and expected to graduate in 2028 or 2029.
• Must maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above.

Responsibilities

• Support the maintenance of contract information used to track PPAs and RECs.
• Help prepare reports, presentations, and exhibits for business and regulatory purposes.
• Participate in annual and quarterly RFP processes that support Dominion Energy's renewable energy goals.
• Research energy markets, contracts, and industry trends to support business initiatives.
• Contribute to process improvement by documenting procedures and job aids.
• Support contract administration and monthly billing activities through data review and validation.
• Collaborate on special projects related to renewable energy procurement and wholesale energy markets.
