Job summary

Copia Power is seeking an Associate in Capital Markets with a focus on energy, infrastructure, or real estate. The role centers on structuring financing transactions, building financial models, and coordinating due diligence across internal teams.

The candidate should have a background in renewables and finance and be comfortable working with executives and external partners. The position reports to the Managing Director, Capital Markets, and requires strong communication, resourcefulness, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience focused on project finance.
• 1+ years of renewable energy experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (MBA or CFA is a plus)
• Strong understanding of renewable energy markets and project finance principles
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to work in the Washington, D.C. office a minimum of 3 days per week

Responsibilities

• Support the execution and structuring of financing transactions for renewable projects.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for renewables.
• Manage due diligence processes from initial discussions to closing.
• Coordinate cross-functional deliverables in support of financial close.
• Communicate with C-level executives, lenders, and investors.
