Job summary

Nexamp is seeking a Capital Markets Associate to join its Capital Markets team, responsible for advanced financial modeling, debt sizing, and structured financing across distributed generation and utility-scale projects.

You will lead transaction execution under senior leadership, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and prepare materials for investment committees. This hybrid role reports to the Director, Capital Markets, with offices in Boston and Chicago.

Qualifications

3+ years in project finance, capital markets, renewable energy finance, or related field.
Strong financial modeling and Excel proficiency.
Experience presenting to senior management and investment committees.

Responsibilities

Lead development and review of detailed financial models for DG and utility-scale projects.
Model debt, tax equity, tax credits, and other financing options.
Lead workstreams in structuring and execution of financing transactions.
Own execution plans, closing checklists, and deliverable tracking.
Prepare investment memoranda and financing summaries for approvals.
Manage lender/investor reporting and covenant compliance.
