Job summary

AKS Engineering & Forestry, LLC is seeking a Construction Superintendent to lead on-site coordination for utility-scale renewable energy projects across solar, BESS and wind. You will ensure work aligns with plans, monitor safety, and keep construction activities on schedule, while coordinating with EPC partners and utilities.

You are an experienced construction professional with strong communication skills, able to manage multiple trades, review plans, track progress, and maintain accurate

Qualifications

• Experience with solar, BESS or wind projects.
• Excellent documentation of meetings and site changes.
• Ability to travel across the United States.
• Strong coordination of multiple trades in a fast-paced field.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site coordination for utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Review work plans, means and methods, safety procedures and schedules across electrical and general construction scopes.
• Monitor delivery, staging and storage of equipment and materials to ensure proper handling and project readiness.
• Track progress against key milestones and coordinate with EPC partners to adjust plans as needed.
• Support permit compliance, inspections, environmental requirements and close-out documentation.
• Maintain accurate field documentation including site conditions, decisions, inspections and progress reporting.
• Identify project risks, participate in root cause analysis and support corrective and preventative actions.
