Southern Power, a subsidiary of Southern Company, seeks an Engineer / Analyst – Renewable Asset Management to oversee financial, operational, and strategic performance of solar and wind assets. The role includes budgeting, forecasting, and identifying cost savings, with lifecycle optimization and due diligence support for acquisitions and development projects.

You will monitor performance, coordinate with O&M teams, manage contracts, and report KPIs to stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of power plant operations, project engineering, financial modeling, or asset management, preferably in renewables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Contract management experience.
• Management of multiple medium to large-scale projects, ensuring successful execution from planning through completion.

• Oversee financial, operational, and strategic performance of renewable assets (Solar and Wind).
• Track revenue, expenses, and asset profitability; manage budgets and forecasts.
• Identify cost savings or revenue opportunities and optimize assets throughout their lifecycle.
• Support due diligence for asset acquisitions and new development projects.
• Monitor asset performance and coordinate with O&M teams for high availability.
• Assist in O&M contract development and ensure compliance with agreements.
• Produce regular performance reports and benchmark against industry standards.
• Engage with stakeholders and present status updates; coordinate site visits as needed.
