Qualifications

• Minimum three years clerical/office experience in medical/healthcare setting.
• Two years scheduling experience in fast-paced medical office or hospital department.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak English; Spanish helpful.
• Proficiency with personal computers and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate scheduling of procedures and appointments.
• Assist Transplant Nurse Coordinators with scheduling pre-transplant studies.
• Schedule procedures considering policies, staff availability and patient needs.
• Maintain monthly on-call schedules for the Transplant team.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and provide excellent customer service.
