Qualifications

• Must have current Texas PA licensure or APRN licensure with applicable certification.
• Current, valid BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• Eligible for Physician Assistant or APRN practice in renal transplant settings.
• Active certification in a relevant APP role or specialty.

Responsibilities

• Performs clinical practitioner duties in designated specialty area and conducts exams.
• Obtains histories, orders tests, makes assessments and plans of care.
• Documents health history and treatment clearly; manages time effectively.
• Educates patients and families to ensure self-management and follow-up.
• Promotes interdisciplinary collaboration for quality care and satisfaction.
• Stays current with field developments and participates in PHHS education.
• Maintains knowledge of applicable laws, policies and accreditation requirements.
• Identifies process improvements to enhance productivity and patient experience.
