Job summary

Parkland Health in Dallas area seeks a qualified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide patient care in designated primary or specialty areas at New Parkland Hospital. Qualifications

  • Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university and ARC-PA accreditation.
  • Advanced Practice Registered Nurse: Master's degree accredited by CCNE or ACEN.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clinical practitioner duties in designated specialty area, with histories, exams and plans.
  • Records health history, findings, and recommendations clearly and concisely.
  • Educates patients and families to ensure self-management and follow-up.
  • Supports interdisciplinary collaboration to promote quality care and patient satisfaction.
  • Keeps knowledge updated on practice field developments and participates in PHHS education activities.
  • Maintains compliance with applicable rules and licensure requirements.
