Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking an RN for the 4 East Renal Med/Surg team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team. You will follow established nursing models and advocate for patients, families, and caregivers to ensure outstanding outcomes.

Responsibilities include admitting assessments, medication administration, timely documentation, prompt patient responsiveness, and patient/family education on conditions and follow-up

Qualifications

• Active GA nursing license or compact state license is required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• RN licensure and a nursing degree (BSN or ADN) are required

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition on admission and during shifts, report changes promptly
• Administer medications, monitor responses, and document care
• Provide prompt, compassionate care and respond to patient requests
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up measures

Skills

GA RN licensure (or compact)

BLS within 30 days

Education

Bachelor's or Associate Degree
