Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis Team and provide hemodialysis care to patients. You will assess, monitor, and document treatment sessions and collaborate with nephrology and the care team to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license or compact licensure.
• BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Prior hemodialysis or acute dialysis nursing experience.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients receiving hemodialysis treatments.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and disease management.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
