Job summary

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Dialysis Team, providing specialized care to patients undergoing hemodialysis. You will assess, monitor, and document patient status, administer medications per physician orders, and educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease management.

You will collaborate with physicians, nephrologists, and a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care and patient safety in a 350+ bed acute care hospital

Qualifications

• Current Georgia RN license or compact licensure
• BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Prior hemodialysis or acute dialysis nursing experience
• ACLS certification
• Experience caring for critically ill or medically complex patients

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients receiving hemodialysis treatments.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after dialysis treatments.

• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
