Job summary

AlphaGov seeks a Workplace Assessment Consultant to assess workplace climate and culture within public agencies. You will help leaders understand what is working, what is not, and what to change, using confidential interviews, focus groups, and surveys.

You will design assessment plans, review policies and turnover data, write balanced findings, and present practical recommendations to agency leadership, supporting action planning with leaders and employee groups.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workplace climate, culture, or organizational assessments, ideally in the public sector.
• Skilled at confidential interviewing and focus-group facilitation on sensitive topics.
• Ability to analyze qualitative and survey data and write balanced, evidence-based reports.
• Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant, remote-first with occasional on-site interviews.

Responsibilities

• Design assessment plans, interview protocols, focus-group guides, and survey instruments.
• Conduct confidential interviews and facilitate focus groups with employees, supervisors, and leadership.
• Analyze interview and survey data to identify themes in communication, morale, leadership, and working conditions.
• Review relevant policies, complaint trends, turnover data, and organizational structure.
• Write clear, balanced findings and practical recommendations for agency leadership.
• Present results and support action planning with leaders and employee groups.
• Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming.
