Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking chaplains to serve employees and their families across client sites. The role involves weekly ministerial visits, confidential counsel, and supporting spiritual care as part of the Employee Care Service.

Candidates should demonstrate Christian ministry values, strong communication, and ability to operate in a remote environment with flexibility to travel to worksites and provide post-termination support as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary group and in an interfaith setting.
• Ability to listen, interact with clients and families; deliver community presentations.
• Spiritual maturity and commitment to Christian ministry values.
• Diplomacy, patience, and courtesy with diverse groups; maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent written and spoken communication; maintain emotional stability.
• Ability to analyze information and follow up on problems.
• Active state driver's license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Make regular visits to company worksites (usually weekly) to interact with employees and build relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employees and immediate family members.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals and provide post-termination care as needed.
• Represent companies to clients in ministry services and participate in new employee orientation.
• Respond to duties requested by executive leadership within agreement scope.
