Job summary

Marketplace Chaplains is seeking part-time chaplains to serve employees and their families across client worksites in a remote field role. You will provide pastoral care, confidential discussions, and referrals, visiting sites weekly to build trusted relationships within Christian ministry values.

The role requires the ability to work interfaith with diverse staff, strong communication, and discretion. Transportation is necessary, with on-site client engagement as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in an interdisciplinary and interfaith setting.
• Effective listening and communication with clients and families.
• Demonstrated Christian faith and values.
• Diplomacy and confidentiality in sensitive matters.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Driver’s license and auto insurance as required.

Responsibilities

• Visit companies weekly to interact with employees and build relationships of trust.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employees and immediate family members.
• Offer referral services and coordinate specialized assistance as needed.
• Assist in planning, conducting or attending funerals and grief support.
• Provide post-termination care to ease transitions for employees.
• Distribute literature and resources to assist employees with life issues.
