Marketplace Chaplains is seeking part-time chaplains to serve employees and their families in Coshocton and Zanesville, OH. Chaplains fulfill the mission and Christian ministry by using their gifts to support workplace teams.

The role involves weekly visits to worksites, counseling, spiritual care, funerals and coordinating resources, with remote work dependent on client sites. A strong Christian lifestyle and ability to work with diverse groups are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in interdisciplinary and interfaith settings.
• Excellent listening and communication with clients and families.
• Christian lifestyle aligned with ministry values.
• Diplomacy, patience, and customer service in diverse groups.
• Oral and written communication with leadership and staff.
• Analytical skills to define problems and follow up.
• Ability to interpret policy and keep others informed.
• Active state driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Visit company worksites weekly to build trust and faith-based relationships.
• Provide confidential pastoral discussions for employee and family issues.
• Coordinate referrals for specialized assistance.
• Assist in planning or attending funerals when needed.
• Communicate ministry and mission to employees and families.
• Support post-termination care to ease transitions.
