Job summary

Thrivent Financial seeks a Workforce Compliance & Ethics Consultant to advise enterprise leaders on complex employee matters and to support policy development and risk management. The role collaborates with HR, COEs, and business leaders to ensure compliant practices across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years in employee relations, ethics, or compliance, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence without direct authority. Remote Minnesota work is supported.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in employee relations, ethics, compliance, HR, or a related field.
• Experience handling complex or sensitive workforce matters and cross-functional processes.
• Strong knowledge of EEO, unemployment, FMLA, ADA, policies and procedures, and employment law concepts.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice and solutions to enterprise leaders on complex employee and field issues.
• Offer guidance on compliance topics (EEO, Wage & Hour, ADA, Conflicts of Interest).
• Lead projects, manage timelines, and communicate progress with partners and leaders.
• Develop and revise team policies; identify process improvements and enterprise-wide updates.
