Job summary

Adams & Martin Group is seeking an experienced Workers' Compensation Legal Assistant to support a busy practice in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of California workers' compensation procedures and solid legal administrative skills.

Responsibilities include transcribing dictation, preparing pleadings and discovery, managing case files and calendars, and coordinating filings while maintaining accurate billing records. 3+ years of WC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in Workers' Compensation.
• Strong knowledge of California court procedures and deadlines.
• Experience with e-filing and legal vendors.
• Advanced Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat skills.
• Typing speed of 75+ WPM.
• Experience with A1-Law, VTransact, and EAMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe legal dictation, status reports, and settlement documents
• Prepare pleadings, correspondence, and discovery-related materials
• Manage case files, calendaring, and attorney support functions
• Prepare hearing, deposition, and trial-related documents
• Coordinate filings and maintain accurate billing records
