Mission Recruiting is seeking a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney with at least five years of relevant experience for a fully remote opportunity. The role demands independent management of a full caseload and regular appearances before the Workers' Compensation Appeals Board (WCAB).

The attorney will draft litigation documents, represent clients at hearings, and develop effective legal strategies, while enjoying competitive compensation ranging from $150,000 to $190,000 annually and various benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of workers' compensation defense experience.
• Experience in independently managing workers' compensation files.
• Familiarity with EAMS and WCAB procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full workers' compensation defense caseload.
• Represent clients at WCAB hearings, depositions, and trials.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations.
