Job summary

Gallagher Bassett is seeking a Claims Adjuster with a background in workers’ compensation and NY jurisdictions. This role offers the flexibility of fully remote work and requires a minimum of 3 years claims experience along with an active license in the relevant states.

You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex claims, coordinating with clients and claimants to deliver timely outcomes while adhering to policies and ethics. A HS diploma is required, with a Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of 3 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of accepted industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure, determine course of action, and resolve claims.
• Interact with other parties in the claim process to ensure effective communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants with empathy throughout the process.
• Handle claims consistent with client and corporate policies, procedures, and ethics.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely to support claim outcomes.
