Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Jurisdiction knowledge: NY; Licensing: NY

Responsibilities

• Analyze and adjudicate Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims for benefits due.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority and timelines.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carriers and respond to directions promptly.
