Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; certification as applicable to line of business is a plus.
• Experience: 3-5 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Public Entity Workers Compensation preferred.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: NY required; NJ preferred.
• Licensing: NY.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing Lost-Time Workers' Compensation claims to determine benefits due and adjudicate within service expectations.
• Negotiating settlements within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and the client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions in a timely manner.
