Sedgwick is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze Lost-Time claims for NY jurisdiction in a role that offers remote work flexibility and strong career development. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of claims management experience, a High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor's preferred), and NY licensing.

Qualifications

• Education & Licensing: High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification as applicable.
• Experience: 3-5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination.
• Public Entity Workers Compensation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to a timely resolution by investigating information to determine exposure.
• Negotiating settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity and processing with the claimant and the client.
