Job summary

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Adjuster to handle Southeast jurisdictions remotely. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims on behalf of our clients.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of WC adjusting experience and Southeast licensing exposure, with strong communication and analytical skills to interact with claimants, providers, attorneys, and executives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
• License/state experience in the Southeast states.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims on behalf of clients.
• Communicate with claimants, providers' offices, attorneys, and executives.
• Handle claims across multiple Southeast jurisdictions with attention to regulatory compliance.
