Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) seeks an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster for a fully remote role. You will manage a diverse caseload, work with clients, and impact claim outcomes across Midwest jurisdictions.

Requirements include at least 1 year adjusting WC claims, handling statements, lost wage benefits, state forms, subrogation, litigation, and end-to-end resolution. Strong communication, negotiation, and independent collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience adjusting workers compensation claims.
• Knowledge of Midwest WC laws and forms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims software.

Responsibilities

• Take statements from claimants and witnesses.
• Pay lost wage benefits and file state forms.
• Deny claims when appropriate and manage subrogation.
