Job summary

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is seeking a remote Work Comp Adjuster to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers' compensation claims for our clients. This home-based role requires 1 year of claims adjusting experience and knowledge of WC laws.

You will communicate with claimants, CEOs, providers, and attorneys, handling filings, subrogation, and litigation where necessary. We provide equipment, IT support, and day-one benefits, with flexible salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Good knowledge of workers' compensation laws and regulations.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; detail-oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers' compensation claims for clients.
• Communicate with claimants, CEOs, providers, and attorneys; coordinate across multiple jurisdictions.
• Maintain accurate documentation and file management; support subrogation and litigation where applicable.
