Job summary

Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster for a fully remote role. You will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle claims across multiple jurisdictions while acting as a strategic partner to clients, communicating with claimants, providers, and attorneys.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of WC claims experience, solid knowledge of workers compensation laws, and strong analytical and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
• Knowledge of and experience managing WC claims across Midwest jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of WC laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims.
• Communicate with claimants, providers offices, and attorneys.
• Support clients with strategic claim handling across jurisdictions.
• Work across multiple Midwest jurisdictions with attention to detail.
