Cottingham & Butler Claims Services (CBCS) seeks a Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster for a fully remote role in the Midwest region. You will manage a diverse caseload, work with clients directly, and contribute to favorable claim outcomes across multiple jurisdictions from home.

The role requires prior workers compensation adjusting experience, including statements, wage benefits, state forms, subrogation, litigation handling, and driving claims to resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a workers compensation claims adjuster.
• Knowledge of and experience managing workers compensation claims across Midwest jurisdictions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office and claims management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload and partner directly with clients to drive claim outcomes.
• Take statements, pay lost wage benefits, and file state forms.
• Deny claims, handle subrogation, and manage litigation as needed.
• Drive claims to resolution with accuracy and timeliness.
