Job summary

Gallagher Bassett in the United States is seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join our workers' compensation team. You will apply your claims management experience to analyze exposure, plan actions, and resolve claims with empathy and precision.

You will interact with clients, claimants, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and timely resolutions, handling claims in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 3 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled.
• Knowledge of industry standards and practices.
• Computer experience with related claims and business software.
• Bachelor's Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze claims exposure and resolve claims with informed decisions.
• Interact with clients, claimants, and others to ensure effective communication.
• Provide exceptional customer service to claimants.
• Handle claims in line with client policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Document and communicate claim activity timely.
• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims.
