Job summary

Blue Yonder seeks an experienced Workday Solution Architect to lead scalable design and delivery across HCM and at least two modules, including Recruiting or Security, with mandatory reporting expertise. You will drive configuration, security, workflows, and integrations in an Agile environment using Jira.

Responsibilities include designing end-to-end Workday solutions, collaborating with HR, IT, and business stakeholders, and delivering enhancements and major system changes.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Workday experience with solution architecture or senior consulting responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree completed from a reputed University/Institute.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Workday HCM and at least two modules such as Recruiting, Security, Absence, Time Tracking, or Talent and Performance.
• Mandatory experience in Workday Reporting, calculated fields, dashboards, and data analysis.
• Strong understanding of Workday business processes, configuration, security, and production support.
• Experience delivering Workday implementations, enhancements, releases, integrations, and operational support.
• Hands-on experience with Jira and Agile/Scrum delivery practices, including sprint ceremonies, backlog management, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Ability to convert complex business requirements into scalable Workday designs and actionable delivery plans.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience with Workday EIB, Core Connectors, Worksheets, or Discovery Boards.

Responsibilities

• Lead Workday solution architecture, design, configuration, and optimization across selected HCM functional areas.
• Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
• Provide subject matter expertise in at least 2 modules with Reporting as mandatory.
• Design and optimize business processes, workflows, approvals, notifications, validations, security controls, and exception handling.
• Review solution designs, configurations, and impact assessments for consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Lead Workday enhancements, releases, integrations, production support activities, and major system changes.
• Develop and maintain Workday reports, dashboards, calculated fields, prompts, filters, and data validations.
• Configure forms in Workday Docs and reports such as Advanced/Composite/Matrix.
