Progressive Leasing is a leading lease-to-own solutions provider seeking a Payroll and People Operations Analyst. You will own payroll execution, ensure accuracy, and support compliance for a growing workforce across multiple companies.

The role embraces AI tools to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability. You will collaborate with the Payroll Manager and HR partners, handling multi-state cycles in Workday, year-end tasks, and process enhancements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on payroll processing experience in a multi-state environment.
• Hands-on Experience with Workday Payroll is required; equity or stock-based payroll a strong plus.
• Working knowledge of ADP SmartCompliance and federal, state, and local payroll tax requirements.
• Ability to manage tight deadlines with high accuracy; strong reconciliation skills.

Responsibilities

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule in Workday, including regular cycles and off-cycle runs.
• Reconcile payroll data prior to each processing cycle and resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor stock/equity transaction settlement dates and ensure timely tax deposits.
• Audit payroll results for accuracy and compliance.
• Maintain payroll records per federal, state, and local requirements.
• Leverage AI-driven payroll tools to support processing and audit workflows.
