gobravvo is seeking a Workday Integration Engineer to design, build, and support API-driven integrations between Workday and other enterprise platforms. This remote role emphasizes hands-on engineering, troubleshooting, and delivering production-ready integrations that enable business automation and operational workflows.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of Workday integration experience, strong knowledge of Workday REST/SOAP APIs, XML, and security best practices, plus excellent

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with Workday integration development and support.
• Proven expertise with Workday REST and SOAP APIs, including Web Services.
• Ability to manually construct and troubleshoot API requests and responses, utilizing advanced understanding of payloads and error handling.
• Strong skills in XML, including working with namespaces and schema validation.
• Working knowledge of integration security, authentication patterns, and enterprise integration best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain integrations connecting Workday with enterprise systems and automation tools.
• Build and troubleshoot integrations at the request/response level, focusing on payload structure, authentication, and error handling.
• Implement best practices for deterministic, resilient, and production-ready integrations, including strong validation and logging.
• Analyze integration issues by reviewing data flow, business process behavior, and sequencing dependencies across systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure integrations align with business requirements and technical standards.
• Document integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting procedures to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
• Stay current with Workday integration updates, emerging API standards, and enterprise automation trends.
