Job summary

Stanford Health Care seeks a Senior Analyst - Finance Functional Systems to act as a functional SME for Workday Financials. The role leads design, configuration, and optimization of finance processes, drives complex enhancements, and partners with stakeholders to improve end-to-end financial operations.

The candidate will contribute hands-on Workday configuration, testing leadership, and robust documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on Workday Financials configuration.
• Experience configuring Workday business processes, accounting center, allocations, and security groups.
• Proven ability to develop Workday reports, calculated fields, and analytics datasets.
• Experience leading Workday enhancements, requirement gathering, functional design, and UAT.
• Experience supporting general ledger, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for core Workday finance domains and provide expert guidance on end-to-end processes.
• Translate business needs into detailed configuration specs, designs, and testable requirements.
• Maintain high-quality documentation including functional specs, config notes, test scripts, SOPs, and flows.
• Lead full testing cycles, planning, scripting, execution, and defect resolution.
