Job summary

Presbyterian Healthcare Services seeks a Workday Finance Analyst to support, maintain, and optimize the Workday Financials system. You will partner with Finance, Supply Chain, HR, and IT stakeholders to ensure efficient and compliant financial processes aligned with the organization's mission.

Hands-on Workday configuration across GL, AP, AR, Procurement, Grants, Projects, and Expenses is required. The role emphasizes best-practice guidance, client-facing consulting, and collaboration with PHS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; six years experience may substitute.
• Workday Finance certification(s).
• Experience with healthcare ERP/EHR integrations (Workday + Epic).
• Familiarity with CMS reporting requirements and nonprofit finance standards.
• Prior experience in healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

• Provide consulting support to Finance stakeholders on Workday Financials functionality and optimization.
• Primary contact for Workday Finance issues and troubleshooting impacting daily operations.
• Configure and support Workday Finance modules, including Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Procurement, Grants, Projects, and Expenses.
• Advise Finance stakeholders on business process design possibilities, risks, and best practice solutions to streamline processes into Workday solutions.
• Support partnership with PHS Analytics Organization by defining and validating business requirements, data dictionaries, and access to raw data for solutions.
• Support Finance Information Systems through Workday update releases by coordinating testing and validation of new features.
• Evaluate and transform data from source systems to create outputs and reporting for downstream use.
• Contribute to Functional Design Documents, Business Requirements, Interface Designs, test scenarios/plans, GUI and Screen Design.
• Collaborate with Finance management and IT to prioritize enhancements and improve business process outcomes.
• Recommend process improvements and monitor needs to suggest system changes.
• Collaborate with Finance, Revenue Cycle and Supply Chain to streamline workflows for vendor management and related expenses.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations (CMS, state guidelines, nonprofit reporting standards).
• Develop and maintain Workday reports and dashboards for financial operations and executive decision-making.
• Gather and document Workday requirements and translate them into configurations or reports.
• Deliver training and knowledge resources to promote adoption and efficiency.
• Partner with IT and Analytics to ensure accurate data integrations and enterprise reporting (e.g., Epic).
• Prioritize sustainment requests and investigate recurring system issues for corrective action.
• Assist in policy development for analysis of business performance.
• Work with IT and Business SMEs on selection, implementation, and testing of new Finance software/systems.
