Job summary

Software Guidance & Assistance is seeking a contract Workday Developer to configure, build, and support Workday HCM solutions on a fully remote basis. The role emphasizes hands-on engineering across Workday Studio, integrations, and Extend, with a focus on automating processes and delivering reliable software.

You will work independently on projects from kickoff to delivery, using AI-assisted development tools and SDLC practices, and collaborate with regulatory client teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Workday engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Workday configuration and integrations
• Hands-on Workday Extend development experience
• Proficient in Java and/or Python for end-to-end software development
• AI-forward approach with AI-assisted development tools
• Workday AI experience is a plus
• AWS or other cloud platform experience preferred
• Experience with test automation and CI/CD pipelines preferred

Responsibilities

• Configure, develop, and support Workday HCM solutions
• Design and implement Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and web services
• Extend the platform through custom development and automation
• Leverage AI tools to speed delivery and automate routine tasks
• Write clean, tested code and uphold engineering standards and SDLC practices
