Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Workday Configuration Analyst to design, configure, and govern Workday HR systems across the organization. You will translate complex business needs into scalable configurations, lead deployment activities, and collaborate with HR and IT to optimize processes.

This role emphasizes Payroll experience for Canada and strong analytical and communication skills. The position allows remote work in the United States or on-site at Newport News, VA, with East Coast hours and a focus

Qualifications

• Experience configuring Workday in a large organization
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations
• Experience in Absence, Time Tracking, Payroll configurations is preferred

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain Workday business processes and security
• Consult with stakeholders on Workday functionality and process design
• Lead configuration, testing, deployment for Workday enhancements and modules
• Resolve complex issues escalated from Support
• Create and maintain HR reports and dashboards
• Audit HR data for integrity and compliance
• Document system processes and user procedures
• Collaborate with HR and IT for requirements gathering
