Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Work Planning & Execution Lead to support Quality, Services, and IT work planning. The role reports to the Manager of Quality Programs and coordinates with IT and Services to develop execution plans and schedules.

The position requires 8+ years in project-oriented environments, with knowledge of scheduling tools (Primavera P6 or MS Project), and understanding of nuclear industry standards.

Qualifications

• Education/Certification: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required; technical degree is preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years’ experience in a project-oriented work environment, preferably in power or nuclear industries; solid technical writing and presentation skills; working knowledge of scheduling software (Primavera P6 or MS Project).
• Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsibilities

• Plan work requiring resources from functional areas to develop detailed execution plans and analyze critical paths and metrics to ensure resource allocation and schedules are met.
• Monitor resource allocation and leveling; assist with hiring plans and coordinate with project teams to address issues for efficient resources use.
• Interface with project teams and functional orgs to support schedule status updates, work planning, and inputs to manage change.
• Coordinate with Engineering, PPD, Supply Chain and other disciplines to plan implementation of approved changes and project scopes; develop detailed scope descriptions and resource estimates.
• Provide updates on work status, functional area health, and risks via reports, presentations, and other formats.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support successful execution of functional area work activities.
• Prepare functional area resource estimates and execution plans for new commercial projects and communicate resource availability and hiring needs prior to initiation.
• Support organizational and process improvement initiatives; write/review reports and maintain intra-department communication.
