The role combines virtual and in-person education, counseling, and outreach, with travel requirements and shipboard support as needed. The specialist will conduct workshops, provide individual consultations, and coordinate with FFSP stakeholders to deliver effective programs, including deployment support, relocation assistance, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social science or related field or four years’ equivalent experience.
• Experience presenting and facilitating training for large and small groups.
• Experience using digital tools for virtual training.
• Knowledge of FFSP programs: Deployment & Mobilization, Ombudsman, Relocation, Life Skills, Transition, Family Employment Readiness.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person and virtual workshops across Work and Family Life program areas.
• Provide one-on-one consultations for service members and families.
• Provide location-specific information and referral services in-person or virtually.
• Support disaster preparedness or crisis response worldwide and aboard Navy ships.
• Enter information into government records and use tech tools to communicate with stakeholders.
