Job summary

Richco Structures in Wisconsin is seeking a skilled truss designer to join our design team. Read architectural and structural drawings and design wood trusses for roof, floor and wall systems; please note that remote work is not available.

You will produce individual plans, finalize layouts, and communicate clearly with team members, customers, and production staff to ensure accuracy and alignment with specifications. Training is available for candidates with design or drafting potential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years design or drafting experience preferred; will train.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of construction industry preferred.
• Strong math skills.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Strong work ethic.

Richco Structures is looking to grow our design team! Remote not available.

Truss designer reads residential and commercial plans to design wood trusses using software for roof, floor and wall truss systems. The designer communicates both verbally and written to members of the team, customers and production staff to ensure the designs are accurate and to the customers specifications.
