Job summary

University of North Texas is seeking a Windows Endpoint Administrator to manage Windows devices across campus. The role focuses on migrating from MECM/SCCM to cloud-based Intune, building automated provisioning, and enforcing endpoint security and compliance.

You will deploy, manage, and remediate endpoints, collaborate with diverse IT teams, and support faculty, staff, and students in a large university environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field and four years of computing experience, or equivalent.
• Experience with Windows endpoint management and cloud-based migrations to Intune.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for deployment, remediation, and reporting.
• Knowledge of security best practices including Zero Trust, BitLocker, Windows LAPS, and secure configurations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows endpoints using Intune and MECM/SCCM.
• Deploy and manage devices with Windows Autopilot and provisioning technologies.
• Package, deploy, update, and troubleshoot applications via Intune and MECM/SCCM.
• Manage OS updates, drivers, and deployment rings.
• Maintain endpoint security controls and compliance monitoring.
• Develop automation scripts and integrate with Graph/APIs.
• Collaborate with university IT teams and stakeholders to address challenges.
