GAI Consultants, Inc. is seeking Wetland Delineators to support projects across the Southwest US. Field work includes wetlands delineation, vegetation mapping, and environmental data collection, with opportunities for overtime.

The role blends field and desktop tasks, with remote work allowed for qualified candidates located in the Southwest region. Travel and site work are common, with safety procedures in place and training provided.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have progressive professional experience conducting jurisdictional delineations of state and federal waters/wetlands in the Southwest.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in wetland/water field studies for environmental projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Botany, Wildlife Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Natural Resources, or related discipline.

Responsabilités

• Conduct wetland/water delineation surveys and vegetation mapping.
• Assist in data analysis and report preparation under supervision.
• Utilize Field Maps, Survey123, and GPS for field data collection and data management.
• Assist with technical report preparation using field data.
• Maintain accurate field reports and logs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary Environmental Team.
• Follow safety protocols and project-specific guidance.
