Job summary

GAI Consultants, Inc. seeks experienced Lead Wetland Delineators to support projects across the Southwest US. Field work includes delineations, vegetation mapping, and reports, with both field and desktop tasks. Remote work is eligible but candidates must be located within the Southwestern US region.

The role involves traveling up to 75%, joining field teams, and ensuring safety protocols are followed while delivering quality environmental assessments on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Progressive professional experience conducting jurisdictional delineations of state and federal waters/wetlands in the Southwest.
Minimum 5 years' experience in wetland/water field studies for environmental projects.
Lead Delineator experience: 3+ years leading field crews.

Responsibilities

Conduct wetland/water jurisdictional delineation surveys and vegetation mapping.
Assist with data processing, analysis, and technical report preparation under supervision.
Collect and maintain accurate field reports and data logs.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to field conditions.
