IDEAL Industries, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Account Manager for the Motive Power West Region. This remote role covers the Western United States, with emphasis on building strategic OEM relationships and driving long-term revenue in MHE, AGV/AMR, battery systems, and charging infra.

The ideal candidate combines strategic account leadership with strong OEM business development, ability to influence specifications, and end-to-end sales cycle management. Travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field; MBA preferred.
• Minimum 7 years in strategic account management, OEM sales, or related roles.
• Experience selling electrical, power distribution, or industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic relationships with West region OEMs and key accounts.
• Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans and growth initiatives.
• Influence engineering specifications to secure design wins and long-term production revenue.
• Lead commercial negotiations and pricing strategies to meet revenue and margin goals.
• Maintain a healthy pipeline with disciplined opportunity management using CRM.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations to deliver solutions.
• Provide regular business reviews and track performance against plans.
• Travel up to 50% across the Western United States.
