Job summary

Panacea Health is seeking a Centralized Intake Specialist for Saturdays and Sundays, 8am–8pm, with remote work available to residents of Pennsylvania. You will be the first contact for patients, collect referrals, verify information, and initiate intake with care.

The role requires RN or LPN licensure in PA, experience with admission coordination and EHR systems, HIPAA compliance, and strong communication skills to support a patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, active RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania.
• Experience coordinating admissions, preferably with skilled nursing facilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of health regulation policies, medical terminology, and health insurance processes.
• Experience with patient management software and EHR systems.
• Excellent customer service and clear communication via phone and referral correspondence.
• Knowledge of medical administrative support: scheduling and records.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for referrals, inquiries, and intake coordination.
• Collect and verify patient information using EHR and PointClickCare.
• Screen and triage patient needs based on policies and terminology.
• Schedule follow-up visits and coordinate with facilities to ensure smooth flow.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA and privacy standards.
• Assist with insurance verification and administrative tasks.
• Document interactions thoroughly in EHR systems.
