Job summary

Panacea Health Corp is seeking a Part Time Centralized Intake Specialist to join our healthcare team. This remote role requires living in Pennsylvania and offers weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday 8am-8pm).

You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling referrals, data entry into EHR, and coordinating initial assessments. Ideal candidates will have an active RN or LPN license in PA, experience with admissions coordination and strong knowledge of Medicare requirements, HIPAA,

Qualifications

Must hold an active RN or LPN license in Pennsylvania.
Experience coordinating admissions, preferably with skilled nursing facilities.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong knowledge of health regulations, medical terminology, and health insurance processes.
Experience with patient management software and EHR/EHR systems.
Excellent customer service and clear communication via phone and referrals.
Familiarity with HIPAA and patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Serve as the first contact for referrals and inquiries with friendly, professional service.
Collect and verify patient information using EHR and PointClickCare.
Triage initial patient needs based on health regulations and medical terms.
Schedule follow-up visits and coordinate with facilities to ensure smooth flow.
Maintain patient confidentiality per privacy regulations.
Assist with verifying insurance details and related admin tasks.
Document communications thoroughly in EHR systems.
