Job summary

Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, seeks a Web UX/UI Developer and Designer to support USDA ITD projects. The role is fully remote, with duties spanning design, usability analysis, and cross-platform front-end work across Drupal, SharePoint, and Power Platform.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in UX/UI and web development, with experience in government contracting, accessibility standards, and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, CS, HCI, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on UX/UI design and web development experience.
• Experience with web content management systems and low-code/no-code platforms.
• CSS and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap and Tailwind experience.
• Experience with Drupal, SharePoint, and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Ability to analyze usability and conduct stakeholder interviews.

Responsibilities

• Provide broad UI/UX design services across multiple web platforms (Drupal, SharePoint, Power Platform, custom apps).
• Gather requirements, produce design plans and wireframes, and develop interfaces aligning with USDA/MRP branding.
• Train and guide developers, site owners, and citizen developers.
• Ensure accessibility per Section 508 and WCAG standards.
• Support branding guides and reusable components.
