Job summary

EEM is seeking a Web Developer & Digital Solutions Specialist to join the Digital Solutions team. You’ll maintain WordPress websites, including EEM.org and EEMeurope.org, and handle multilingual content, integrations, and internal apps.

The role emphasizes mentoring, cross‑functional collaboration, and a remote-first work environment with periodic travel. Experience with React or Refine and REST APIs is valuable for building reliable digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience developing and maintaining WordPress websites.
• Familiarity with multilingual sites and WPML.
• Experience with WooCommerce and payments/donations.
• Knowledge of REST APIs and third‑party integrations.
• Git or other modern version control experience.
• Ability to build front‑end features with React or similar.
• Exposure to data, analytics, and internal tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain EEM.org and multilingual sites with focus on performance, accessibility, and security.
• Implement and maintain third‑party integrations (donations, analytics, shipping, video, chat).
• Build internal web applications and tools; connect to APIs and databases.
• Support internal IT and data workflows; provide testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Collaborate across teams in a remote, mission‑driven environment.
