Job summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Web Content Specialist for the California region to publish and maintain content on the Medi-Cal Providers Website. The role requires strong CMS, HTML5, and CSS skills and a focus on accessibility and web standards.

The ideal candidate collaborates with technical and non-technical staff, manages multiple projects with tight deadlines, and participates in daily publication activities.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' website development experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in computer science or related field preferred.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) HTML5, CSS, CRM, Visual Studio Code.
• Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Search Analytics, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe products, including Dreamweaver.
• Experience writing and working with industry writing style guides preferred.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects on varying deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Uses modern coding practices to ensure all documents published to website meet web content accessibility guidelines and best practices web standards.
• Collaborates with technical and non-technical staff to create and update webpages. Collaboration styles include interviewing internal and external staff, reading previous documentation, attending and conducting cross-discipline meetings.
• Participates in Publications daily release activities, including sending daily emails regarding all materials approved to publish.
• Coordinates multiple projects on various deadlines and escalates issues in a timely manner.
