Qualifications

• 5–7 years of total professional experience.
• 5–7 years in web content management, with 3 of the last 5 years in this area.
• U.S. Citizenship required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional writing, editing, and proofreading for clear, impactful content across audiences and channels.
• Create and refine publications, marketing materials, and Public Roads magazine content with QA and version control.
• Provide deliverables including marketing plans, newsletters, flyers, brochures, fact sheets, guides, posters, and web content.
• Edit and support publication of documents, marketing materials, and Public Roads magazines.
• Write, develop, and edit various materials such as documents, marketing content, and magazine articles.
• Provide editorial support for publications and associated materials at all production stages.
• Correct grammar, spelling, style, coherence, and formatting errors.
• Design and format materials to meet branding, style, and accessibility standards.
• Use CMS to upload, maintain, and post content on agency websites and intranets.
• Optimize text for SEO and ensure pages comply with Section 508 accessibility laws.
• Coordinate the agency’s quarterly certification process for up-to-date information.
• Use graphic applications to crop, recolor, resize, and manipulate web images as needed.
